Resources

We would like to share the web sites and resources of some of the professional organizations and institutions that have trained and supported Crossings’ practitioners and teachers:

Acupuncture

To learn about professional training in 5-Element Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology or Applied Healing Arts, or to find a licensed acupuncturist, veterinary acupuncturist or herbalist for someone outside the reach of Crossings’ practitioners, visit www.tai.edu.

Massage and Bodywork

To find a licensed massage therapist while you are away on vacation or for someone outside the reach of Crossings’ therapists, go to the ”Find-A-Therapist” section at www.amtamassage.org, the website for the American Massage Therapy Association. You can also visit www.ncbtmb.com for a list of nationally certified massage therapists.

For more information on Washington DC’s only massage school, visit the Potomac Massage Training Institute at www.pmti.org.  Here you can find information on their professional training program, continuing education, and programs for the public.

For more information on Zero Balancing, visit www.zerobalancing.com. Get your questions answered, explore the schedule for conferences or professional training, and find a practitioner as far away as the U.K. or Australia!

Meditation

The website for Stillwater Mindfulness Practice Center, a meditation community which has used Crossings' meeting space for nearly a decade is www.StillWaterMPC.org.
